![]() ![]() At no time was an apology or compensation offered for any of these issues. The absolute icing on the cake would have to be that at Relais Spa, guests are required to take their own rubbish bags down to the basement bins when checking out. (And, be warned, only one device per room is permitted to access the wifi). We were then told to use the lobby if we needed to access the internet. An IT serviceman was called to our room but couldn't get us a stronger signal. The internet was the slowest we had ever experienced. We were only given one key even though there was two of us, so separate trips away from the hotel weren't possible. ![]() Feeling humiliated, I went and sat a few metres away while they spoke to my fiancé. We were the only guests in the lobby but I was told to leave the reception desk as "we can only talk to one guest per group at a time". The hotel looks fantastic online and upon your arrival. Arriving in Chessy, and excited to be going to Disneyland, my fiancé and I went to check in for our single-night's stay at the Relais Spa. Also be aware that anyone under the age of 18 is not allowed in the pool or spa area, which is stated on their website. They did however have a computer with Internet for use in the foyer at no cost. The only downside was the wifi connection - pretty sketchy as we found it to be elsewhere in other hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful, assisting with booking our tickets for the Eiffel Tower to avoid queues when we got there. The room was very modern and clean and comfortable. The suite was spacious with a separate master bedroom and ensuite and a second bathroom and small kitchen. We only paid 125 Euros for a junior suite for my husband and myself and our 2 and 6 year olds. There was also a fantastic shopping centre very close by as well as pubs and restaurants. Relais Spa Chessy was an excellent choice, with underground car parking and the metro station only about 300m away, with a 40 minute train ride into Paris. We wanted somewhere we could drive to, and leave the car without having to drive into the city. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay at the Relais Spa and would recommend to anyone wanting an alternative to the onsite Disney hotels. We stayed here for 4 nights after 2 nights at Disneyland Paris. Although the selection was good we did not feel that this was good value for money and used our kitchen facilities the rest of the stay. On the first morning we had breakfast at the hotel. Once again we found all staff welcoming and friendly on the shuttle service. ![]() The free shuttle to the Disney parks was brilliant and although the hotel is close it certainly was very welcome after several miles of walking around the attractions. All the staff at the hotel were polite and friendly nothing seemed too much trouble. The large double bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and had a shower over the bath. The kitchen area was clean and adequate for our needs. We had two junior suites which were very spacious. We had a drink in the bar and were soon ready for check in. His English was excellent and he was very apologetic that the rooms were not quite ready. We were checked in by Antoine who was very efficient and polite. After arriving at Marne la Val train station we got a taxi for the short ride to Relais Spa. ![]()
